I’ve celebrated a few birthdays with Sheryl, and this one, spent in Estes Park, is no exception in terms of being special. We spent an enjoyable day up here in the Rocky Mountains following her favorite breakfast and followed by a good dinner at a modern Mexican style restaurant.
I have to admit though, that I feel like I’m the one who got the best presents, as yesterday I completed my 31st day of bike riding in a row with a very pleasant ride around Estes Lake. In addition, the ride ended up pushing me over 300 miles for the month, a now annual occurrence that is still a pretty big deal for me.
Then, to make a great day better, I walked around Bear Lake in the afternoon. Just beautiful.
I have a bunch of pictures, but only time right now for these two, one from the morning ride and the other from Bear Lake.
