Spring in Bloom

I planted some new varieties of tulips and daffodils last fall, and am enjoying the results now!

Many of the bulbs came up early during an unseasonably warm spell, then, a month later, they were heavily damaged by a late frost.

But the ones that survived look great!

Small, yellow tulip with unusual shaped leaves compared to typical tulips. These are pointed and the flower is more open, less cupped.
