I haven’t had a chance to get out in the field with my new camera, but have taken a few indoor shots.
The two middle pictures were taken with a portable light box attached to my flash. It did soften the light, but is pretty flimsy and I’m not sure I care for it much. Probably worth looking into some alternatives though.
The first image is a fractalized shot of a Christmas star.
The last image was taken with the diffusion dome that came with the flash. It seemed to work, but I’ll need to use it more to know how much I like it.
So far, and of course some of this is just the excitement of any new camera, but so far I’m pretty happy with the initial results I’m seeing as a result of switching from Canon to Nikon. And in particular I think the D750 hits the sweet spot in terms of value.
