In one of those find 10 interesting things while looking up something completely unrelated, I came across some stunning photos of life in rural China. These images illustrate the extreme terracing used to maximize food production, but they go beyond that. They are extremely beautiful pictures, with fantastic lighting and deeply saturated color. Most of the scenes are of the farmland and countryside, but there are a few showing life in remote rural China.
I’ve show 3 examples below, but you simply must visit the site where these came from as there are over a dozen more photos there, many of them as good or better than these!
wow, these lands look beautiful. now if only the people weren’t all so poor though, then maybe i’d actually consider visiting. too bad:/
I know… That comment was so unnecessary. I think this place is wonderful and I will totally go there for a visit. I have met people that have NOTHING but it’s amazing how loving they can be.
SEE U π

These are so amazing! However, the links do not work, and I was wondering if you could tell me how to get to the site, because I want to see the other photos you were talking about! Thanks so much for posting them!!
Here’s a new location for the images:

Are you serious Marina? You don’t want to go visit China because the people are poor? I hope you were joking.
i’d like to visit to HELP the people, im sure they are very friendly π
Serious question… are you retarded?
ugh thats just such a ridiculously naive and selfish comment… i feel bad for you
hey Mike – can you tell us where in China these pics were taken? I’d love to see them first hand and, ideally, get to hang with real villagers.
These photos have been taken in the Southern China particularly in Longsheng rice terraces near Guilin.
