Past performance is no guarantee of future results.
There are many examples supporting the above statement. The latest entry would have to be the weather this year. You see, today is the first day of spring. Much of February and March were unseasonably warm; there were many days when the highs reached the 70s, and even a few times when it got over 80 degrees! As a result the trees started awakening from their winter dormancy early this year, and by pretty much all measures, spring had sprung, albeit a few weeks early.
Did I mention it’s the first day of spring?
It’s snowing heavily as I type this note.
Past performance is no guarantee of future results.
Unfortunately, I know of at least one case where the past performance, 5 years of uncaring, incompetent, corrupt, immoral and shameful behavior, will in all likelyhood continue for the next 3 years.
What 8 years are you referring to?
Could it be the highest office in the land?
If so, I could not agree more.
