While free and open travel is still not a good idea during the time of Covid, short trips with proper precautions are relatively low risk.
With that in mind, we headed out for a quick trip to Colorado recently. We just had to see some mountains and mountain waters!
Along the way, we made a brief stop at Monument Rocks, in far western Kansas, as shown in the first three photos.
The next three pictures were taken along the South Saint Vrain Creek, alongside state highway 7 on the way to Estes Park.
The Big Thompson River along US highway 34 was the location of the last 3 shots as well as the (currently mislabeled as of this writing; it’s actually the Big Thompson) video.
All in all, a refreshing break!
