We took a drive over to Geary County today. Nominally we were headed to the Geary County State Park so I could visit the Geary Lake Falls. We made it to the lake but I passed on hiking to the falls. It was a bit warm and they were probably not flowing at this time of year anyway.
I did get a good image of the lake; nice rock cliffs! And I took a shot of the dam, as a tease to the falls that are on the other side.
While up there we came across a cool old bridge, so of course I took some photos there as well.
Today was Jerry Garcia’s 75th birthday, so we listened to a special concert during our drive, 12/28/79.
