On the first day of summer I headed north to Point Reyes National Park intent on riding a couple of trails. Meeting only minimal traffic, I made good time and after a stop for lunch in Bolinas, it was on to Pt. Reyes.
The day was a bit cool, and foggy at the coast early in the day. By afternoon things had cleared inland, with some lingering clouds at the coast.
Cool gray city in the lingering fog

Stuck waiting on some road construction, I got a great angle on Stinson Beach.

First ride at Point Reyes: to the ocean!
::
Second ride: up a fairly steep grade to this beautiful rest area at the top. Then down to the bottom on the other side and back up again!

My treat for the hard riding.
