Fall Folio including some Notable November Nephograms*

November turned out to a fruitful month on the photographic front. I ended up with a higher than usual number of “keepers” and am sharing a baker’s dozen of my favorites for the month.

Smoky Hill River Train Bridge

I processed this shot of the old Smoky Hill River train bridge using Fractalius and really like how it turned out. The image has a very “fall” feeling to it.

sunset

This picture was taken about a mile west of Lindsborg on Swensson St. I saw what looked like it was going to be a great sunset and rushed out of the house, camera in hand.

Two fall leaves that caught my eye.

You can hover your mouse over the abstract image to see the fractalized version.

[himage]fractalius roserose[/himage]

Last bloom of the year for our miniature rose. The fractalius effect makes it look like an old print or something. Slide your mouse over the image to see the original.
::

bike at sunset

I was finishing up a nice country ramble and took this shot a mile north of town, on Main.
::

sunset

Amazing sunset from the Elmwood Cemetery in Lindsborg.

moon

Moon through the pines. (Original single image, not a composite.)

Windmill at sunset, southeast of Lindsborg.

rainbow bridge

Rainbow Bridge, the old Smoky Hill River Bridge in Lindsborg, under the influence of Fractalius.
::

Christmas cactus

I really like how this image of a Christmas cactus turned out.

Meadowlark Trail

Old train bridge on the Meadowlark Trail south of Lindsborg.
