It's hard to believe it's been 15 years already. And with this anniversary coming so soon after dad's death the memories are especially heartfelt.
God you played guitar so sweetly. You could hold entire stadiums in the palm of your hand, lifting them up and propelling them with the energy from your playing. I swear, sometimes you could hear a pin drop; on the other hand, I did suffer some minor hearing loss one night at the the Keystone in Palo Alto.
From 1981 through 1995 I always had plans for the summer. The Greek, the Frost, Red Rocks and so many more places where your magic was unleashed. So many happy people, dancing under the sun. Never had such a good time!
I'm just rambling, I have nothing profound to say, but like you told us, like you said, nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile!
