After we left the Bridgeport area, we drove across Nevada and into southeastern Utah. We spent the night a few miles east of Mt. Zion National Park, and had enough time for a short visit to the park before sunset. We had been there once before, back in 1987, and did remember part of the drive through the park, including the long tunnel. Like so much of Utah, the scenery is striking, with great upsweeps of reddish rock dominating the landscape.

Nice Zion photos. I love it there too. In fact, all of southern Utah is awesome. I need to go back there.
