Hurricane Katrina: Blog for Relief Day

I don’t know how much good this will do, but it won’t hurt and so it’s worth the effort.

Please, give what you can to help support the folks whose lives have been devastated by hurricane Katrina. As I mentioned on my weekly radio show*, if you want to help, donating money to the American Red Cross is one of the best things you can do. Too often after tragedies such as this relief agencies are overwhelmed with material goods that aren’t necessarily the type or kind that are needed. Donations of money allow for more flexibility by those agencies, so if you’re wondering how you can help, contact the Red Cross.

More information about this blog-based relief activity are available here and here. In addition, you may log your donation here, not for personal credit, but simply to help show how much money was raised due the efforts of bloggers worldwide.
