What a shame. Over 100 paintings and other stolen art objects, worth over 1 billion dollars, were destroyed in France by a mother seeking to protect her son, who had stolen the paintings, etc.

  1. what a travesty to destroy such irreplacable art … what type of punishment can suit such a crime? Is this truly a crime against humanity, against future generations? Let’s hope that somewhere along the way at least reproductions or digital images of the items survive, although they certainly would not be the real thing, and as a result their emotion content would be reduced. A travesty.
