November turned out to a fruitful month on the photographic front. I ended up with a higher than usual number of “keepers” and am sharing a baker’s dozen of my favorites for the month.
I processed this shot of the old Smoky Hill River train bridge using Fractalius and really like how it turned out. The image has a very “fall” feeling to it.

This picture was taken about a mile west of Lindsborg on Swensson St. I saw what looked like it was going to be a great sunset and rushed out of the house, camera in hand.

Last bloom of the year for our miniature rose. The fractalius effect makes it look like an old print or something. Slide your mouse over the image to see the original.

I was finishing up a nice country ramble and took this shot a mile north of town, on Main.

I really like how this image of a Christmas cactus turned out.

I really like these special effects. The miniature rose looks like an old drawing and it is startling to see it in its natural state.
Thanks! Glad you liked the rose, the old pen and ink look is just what I’m after!
