600 Miles in Two Months

This post marks big milestone in my cycling “career.” I just finished riding every day in November. I guess you could call it an unoffical “30 Days of Cycling.” No particular reason, but once I had reached 20 or so days in a row I decided to try and complete the cycle. (sorry)

It wasn’t too hard as the weather was unseasonably nice for November. On the worst day, I had to ride in cold temps and high winds, but it didn’t hurt me. I rode the Meadowlark Trail 22 times during the month, which is my usual percentage, 2/3 of all rides.

I also managed to average 10 miles a day, ending the month with 301 miles.

Riding 30 days in a row, while not common, is something I’ve done before. Adding the 300 miles ridden in October to the 300 from November is what marks a big milestone: I’ve never ridden 300 miles two months in a row! Nor have I ever ridden 600 miles in a two month period until now.

Along the way, I took photos. Here are 7 of my favorites.
