32 Gallon Planted Tank

After our aquarium lights died we decided to double down and not only replace the lights, but also purchase the new glass tank we had been considering for over a year.

We ordered a 32 gallon tank, custom cut to fit our available space, from GlassCages.com. We basically paid for a 35G tank and they cut it to size for free. We also specified low-iron glass, which is more clear, and has less of a coloration than normal aquarium glass. It does look very clear I have to say.

It’s been up and running for a couple of weeks now. We’ve added some pea puffers, which are fresh water puffers that come from a river in India and only grow to one inch in size. The first shipment of plants has also arrived and been planted.

Here are a few photos from the tank as it looks today. You can click any image to see a larger version.
