Colorado in September

We took a quick trip to Colorado in mid-September. While not the avid rock and mineral collectors that we were almost 20 years ago when we attended the colossal Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, we’ve long been interested in the Denver show. This year we made it!

We also made it up to Boulder and slightly west, but this was our most “urban” Colorado experience since we started visiting. Besides the rock show, we explored south Denver, home of the 250 booth antique mall. There we mainly loaded up on more fluorescent vaseline glass, including the pitcher and glasses that hold our margaritas tonight!

Here are some photos from inside the show as well as a few west of Boulder.
