Southwest of Lindsborg on a Bike

I missed the end of last week at work due to illness and a need to take care of some personal business. But mostly due to feeling pretty cruddy (that’s the technical term.)

The morning got off to a good start, but then I started fading and not feeling well. I just don’t think I’m sick (just stressed due to the amount of life changes in the past month) and the day was warm and windless, so I took off for a post-lunch ride.

And oh boy was it a good one! 25 miles meandering through the beautiful, slightly hilly Kansas countryside southwest of Lindsborg, enjoying the solitude and the fall colors, is good for the body and good for the soul. Fall is still breaking around here, but there was plenty of color and plenty else to shoot as well.

Below are my 12 favorite shots plus a map of the ride itself. And I continued experimenting with new presets. Each image, except the last photo and the map, has had a Lightroom preset applied.
