I took a few photos of a pink miniature rose I picked up for Sheryl yesterday. I used natural lighting and a macro lens, including one shot with a reversed 50mm lens attached to the 100mm macro (all Canon).
I was processing the shots when I realized the weather had improved enough I could go for a bike ride.
It was near highway 4 and 2nd street that I spied the large old snapping turtle.
Well I already had some great shots of the roses that I wanted to share, but how could I not show the world this grizzled old veteran turtle?
